2020 Ford F-150 near Prineville OR Does it All

Whether you need a basic work truck or a luxurious family hauler, the 2020 Ford F-150 near Prineville OR covers a wide range of budget needs. Visit TS&S Ford to explore your options from entry-level trims to the loaded Platinum edition.

Somewhere along the line, pickup trucks have become luxury cruise machines, and the 2020 Ford F-150 is no different. Sure, you can still purchase a work truck with a regular cab and an 8 foot bed, but the most popular versions are the family-friendly four-door trucks with shorter beds. There's an extended cab, too, for those who combine work and play. With a wide range of engines and driveline combinations, there's an F-150 for nearly any budget. And, unlike the competition that uses mostly steel in its construction, Ford builds all of its pickup body panels out of aluminum.

Despite not being fully redesigned since the 2015 model year when the F-150 switched to aluminum-alloy body construction, the 2020 Ford F-150 near Prineville OR still performs brilliantly in so many areas. New engines, a 10-speed automatic transmission and updated features have kept the F-150 from falling too far behind the competition, and it remains a recommendable truck. A light-duty diesel engine recently became an option, and the Limited trim level got the F-150 Raptor's high-output V-6, while the Raptor also received noteworthy changes.

Interior Changes in the 2020 Ford F-150 near Prineville OR
For 2020, there are no mechanical or interior changes to the F-150, but some features and options have been reconfigured. Ford's Co-Pilot 360 is now standard on Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited trims, adding blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist and automatic high beams; forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking is also part of this grouping and was included standard in all F-150s for 2019. On the off-road F-150 Raptor, the previous Raptor Technology Package that included adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and rain-sensing wipers has been discontinued, and those options have been lumped into other packages (mid-grade and luxury).

Six engine options include:
290-hp naturally aspirated V6
325 hp EcoBoost (turbocharged) V6
375-hp EcoBoost (turbocharged) V6
395-hp V8
high-output 450-hp turbo V6 (comes in the Limited and Raptor trims)
250-hp turbodiesel

All of the engines deliver plenty of power for driving the F-150 around town and on the highway, and each is capable of some towing. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 13,200 pounds and has a maximum payload of 3,270 pounds. The turbocharged and V8 engines feel stronger than the base powertrain, and provide more energetic acceleration. The most impressive engine in the lineup is the performance-oriented EcoBoost V6 that's available in the Raptor and Limited trims. It makes 450 hp, and you'll feel it when you hit the gas pedal!

Firm handling and a comfortable ride make the F-150 easy to drive. The F-150 is poised around turns, and rough roads don't leave passengers feeling jostled. Any F-150 model is reasonably capable off road because of available features like four-wheel drive and skid plates. The most capable trim for off-roading is the Raptor.

In regular cab models, the 2020 Ford F-150 near Prineville OR seats up to three people. In SuperCab and SuperCrew models, that number increases to six. The front seats are comfortable and supportive, and they make it easy to find a suitable position. SuperCab models have adequate rear-seat space for adults for short trips, while SuperCrew models have an abundance of room for back-seat passengers. For child car seats, F-150 models with a rear seat have two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the outboard seats, as well as an upper tether for the middle seat.

An AM/FM radio comes standard in the base F-150, and that's about it because the lowest trim is mostly just a work truck. Available features include:

voice-activated SYNC connectivity system
SYNC 3 infotainment system
8-inch touch screen
Bang & Olufsen audio system
satellite radio
navigation
Bluetooth
USB port
Wi-Fi hot spot
Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
moonroof
dual-zone automatic climate control

The SYNC 3 infotainment system is one of the best in the class. Its touch screen responds quickly to inputs, and the interface doesn't take much time to master. There are plenty of Smartphone connectivity options as well.
