The 2019 Toyota Tacoma in Madras, OR is known as a reliable midsized pick-up. It offers strong safety scores, high performance, and desirable features, but will it continue to be a relevant option now that the 2019 Ford Ranger has hit the scene?
2019 Toyota Tacoma Madras OR vs 2019 Ford Ranger
Reliability Comparison
Ford remains among the highest levels of American brands. Need maintenance or repairs? You don't have to drive too far to reach a Ford dealer for expert service and parts. The 2019 Ford Ranger has a history of reliability, with J.D. Power rating the 2009 Ford Ranger with an impressive 5 out of 5 for predicted reliability.
In a Telegraph survey, Toyota placed 9th with 96 problems for every 100 cars. Some Toyota models have registered issues in the past, such as the Toyota Auris. This model was flagged for quick wear and tear for the front seats, heavy oil consumption, and lack of power due to a blocked exhaust gas valve.
Another long-standing issue with the Toyota Tacoma is its lack of a fully-boxed frame, a must-have for all top-level trucks. Fortunately, the 2019 Ford Ranger has a fully-boxed frame made from stiffer and lighter high-strength steel.

2019 GMC Sierra in Madras, OR vs. 2019 Ford F-150: Which Pickup is Superior?

The 2019 GMC Sierra in Madras, OR is a full-size pickup truck that is worthy of praise. With a tough exterior, reliable engine, and various amenities, it is a force to be reckoned with. However, faced toe-to-toe against the 2019 Ford F-150, Ford remains the best in its class, thanks to its outstanding performance, improved interiors, and higher emphasis on safety.
2019 GMC Sierra Madras OR vs 2019 Ford F-150
Engine Comparison
The 2019 GMC Sierra and 2019 Ford F-150 have diversified their engine selections. With every trim, there is a specialized engine that brings out the best for the vehicle it supports. The GMC Sierra selection ranges from the turbocharged 2.7L turbocharged engine up to the 6.2L V8 engine. The Ford F-150 has a wider range of engines: there's the 5.0-liter V8, the turbocharged 2.7-liter V6, the 3.5-liter V6, and the turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 for higher trims.
All F-150 trims sport superior engine horsepower to their Sierra counterparts, generating up to 450 hp compared to the GMC's 420 hp. The power advantage of the F-150 manifests itself in the towing and hauling capabilities of the truck, which is arguably the best criterion for this segment. The Ford pickup notched a maximum trailering of 13,200 lbs as opposed to its GMC rival's 12,200 lbs. The F-150's maximum payload of 3,270 lbs trumps Sierra's 2,160 lbs. The F-150 also has the edge in highway driving, getting 25 mpg compared to Sierra's 23 mpg. It's a close race, but the F-150 tops the Sierra again in this category.
The all-new 2019 GMC Sierra in Madras, OR proves its worth as one of the exciting new full-size pickup trucks. However, the 2019 Ford F-150 is still a better choice, based on engine performance, towing and hauling capabilities, and overall reliability.

2019 Nissan Frontier in Madras, OR vs. 2019 Ford Ranger: Which Midsize Pickup Truck is Tougher on the Road?

The Nissan Frontier in Madras OR is a highly dependable and affordable midsize pickup truck packed with great features and power, however, when competing head-to-head with the 2019 Ford Ranger, the Ranger takes the cake.
The 2019 Ford Ranger is a modern beast through and through, with cutting-edge technological features, powerful capacities, and an engine that is a notch above the rest.

Safety Comparison

The Nissan Frontier may look deceptively simple, but it does not fall short when it comes to safety. Nissan's advanced airbag system comes in dual stage settings and has seat belt and occupant classification sensors. However, Nissan must catch up with the times by including more active safety technology options, something that its top competitors have already invested in.
Not to be outdone, the 2019 Ford Ranger has an equally outstanding system of airbags and seatbelts. It also has an active safety system guided by radar, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, a Lane Keeping system, and Pre-Collision Assist features. The comprehensive active and passive safety system on the Ranger is unmatchable, making it the top choice for safety.

Passenger Space Comparison

The Nissan Frontier likes to keep things simple when it comes to interiors, saving its best ammunition for its performance, but that's not to say the Frontier is behind in the game. Just like its contemporaries, it has a 5.0" color display that can be connected to a smartphone for taking calls and playing music through its four speakers. It also comes equipped with a rearview monitor that can be used when backing up your vehicle. Wrapping up the Frontier's interior features are the driver and front passenger seats, which are adjustable up to 4 ways, giving enough simple comfort.
The 2019 Ford Ranger, on the other hand, is a paragon of modernity, with lush touches and its 8.0" infotainment screen. You can readily hook up your mobile device to make hands free calls and messages and play music over its 6 speakers. It also has a rearview monitor to make parking easier than ever. Unlike the Frontier, however, it is equipped with SYNC3, a voice-activated technology allowing you to control your infotainment options with ease. Lastly, the Ranger's seats trump the Frontier's; they are adjustable in 8 ways and are heated for maximum comfort in cold conditions.  With a tad more to offer than its competitor in the interiors battle, the Ranger claims this round as well.

2019 Nissan Titan in Madras, OR vs. 2019 Ford F-150: Can the Titan Compete?

The 2019 Nissan Titan in Madras, OR is Nissan's latest attempt to catch up with today's finest trucks. It gets some things right, like a roomy cabin and competent hauling capabilities. Compared with the 2019 Ford F-150, however, the Nissan Titan simply doesn't offer a lot of compelling reasons to make it a real contender.
The 2019 Ford F-150 is America's all-time best selling truck for a reason, and the Nissan Titan lags far behind.

Safety Comparison
The 2019 Nissan Titan lacks many safety features that all 2019 vehicles should already be equipped with, but the truck does offer anti-lock brakes, stability control, six airbags, and other basic features. Optional features include rear cross-traffic alerts and blind spot monitors, and not much else.
You will not be offered the latest technologies such as active lane control, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking- critical features that keep passengers and cargo safe on heavy-duty trucks like this one.
In contrast, the 2019 Ford F-150 keeps it cutting edge with available advanced safety features such as forward collision warnings, inflatable rear seat belts, and adaptive cruise control. You can also upgrade your F-150 with surround-view cameras, active lane control, navigation, and a trailer tow package that's a must-have if you plan to regularly haul large loads.
It's the same story when you check out the crash test scores of both trucks. The 2019 Ford F-150 received a 5-star overall score from the NHTSA. On top of those excellent federal scores, the F-150 also earned the highest, "Good," scores from the IIHS in almost every category. Unfortunately the 2019 Nissan Titan received a mixed bag of results; while it scored "Good" on some tests, it also earned some poor ratings such as a "Marginal" score for its headlights.

Passenger Space Comparison

Both trucks have the same passenger capacity, however, it's a tighter fit inside the Nissan Titan which only has 41.8 inches of legroom compared to 43.9 on the Ford. Shoulder room is only 63.3 versus 66.7, and hip room is 60.8 versus 62.5. Passengers will have the room to stretch out more in the F-150, and taller individuals will enjoy more legroom and headroom.
Comfort and quality-wise, the 2019 Ford F-150 continues to trump the Titan. Its seats are comfortable and well-shaped, but the driver's seat is not height-adjustable. Since the Titan has a below-average outward vision, this can be a significant issue for other drivers. The Ford F-150 goes out of its way to be accommodating. You get lots of regular storage space plus lockable ones for those expensive power tools and laptops. Recharge your gadgets using the standard 110-volt outlets. The truck offers leather seats, heating and cooling seats, large touchscreens, and a host of other creature comforts that perfectly combine utility and luxury.
