If the full-on ST version of the Ford Edge is out of your budget, or you don't need the extra performance features, Ford is now offering a less expensive 2020 Ford Edge ST-Line near Bend OR that gives the mid-size crossover a sportier exterior and interior than the standard version.
If you're not familiar with the ST badge and what it means, it stands for Sport Technologies. Basically, in order to get the ST badge, a vehicle must be equipped with special features that have been developed by Ford Performance engineers.
Ford Performance has built some hot and spirited hatchbacks like the Fiesta ST and Focus ST in recent years. But one model that was surprising to get the ST treatment was the Ford Edge crossover. More than just a sporty appearance package, the Ford Edge ST packs a 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost V6 that produces 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. This setup enables the Edge ST to accelerate from 0-62 mph in less than six seconds.

However, some customers want value and style, and don't want all the horsepower. The interior of the Edge ST-Line seen here is mostly black, but lots of textures and materials (such as metal vent surrounds and faux carbon fiber) break up the cabin. The seats are partial leather, heated front seats, and feature red contrast stitching with a 10-way power driver's seat and 6-way power passenger seat. The front door scuff plates also feature a red ST-Line logo. The rear seats are 60/40 split-fold-flat and reclining bench with fold down arm rests.
